Lesson 4: How to Describe Yourself and Others – European Spanish Beginner (Free Lesson for Adults)

CEFR Level:

  • A2 Level (Advanced Beginner)

Goal:

At the end of your learning session, you must be able to understand the script provided on this page just by reading and listening to it. Your goal is to understand the script, not memorise it.

Hey there! If this is your first time on this website, please take time to read this.

FYI to create these conversational scripts, I use the vocabulary lists and grammar rules from a fantastic, free app called SpanishDictionary. I highly recommend checking it out yourself, either by downloading the app or visiting their website! (Please note: This post is not a collaboration, nor am I sponsored by SpanishDictionary in any way—I just genuinely love using it!)

If you want to familiarize yourself with the vocabulary and grammar rules used in this script, take a few minutes to study the lesson breakdown here: 👉Lesson: Describe Yourself and Others.

Try the Lesson Activity! Did you know that aside from the lesson, you can also test your skills with the app’s interactive activity? To complete the activity, just follow these quick steps:

  1. Create your account: Go to SpanishDictionary and create your own free account to save your progress.
  2. Navigate to the learning hub: Click “Learn Spanish” in the navigation bar located at the top of the page.
  3. Start the activity: Scroll down to the lesson titled “Describe Yourself and Others” and click “Continue” to begin the interactive practice.

If the activity is greyed out, it means you need to complete the previous lessons first.

New here? Start with Lesson 1, since the lessons are meant to be taken in sequence: 👉 Click here to begin.

Need help to access the app’s lessons? If you need help accessing the lessons and activities on the platform, I’ve written a separate step-by-step guide to walk you through it: 👉 How to access SpanishDictionary
