How to Talk About Hobbies in Spanish (w/ FREE Script and Audio)

Robert:
 Lucía, ¿qué haces en tu tiempo libre? NM: Lucía, what do you do in your free time? LT: Lucía, what you do in your time free?
Lucía:
 Pues, Robert, tengo muchos pasatiempos. Escucho música, voy al cine y leo libros. NM: Well, Robert, I have many hobbies. I listen to music, go to the movies, and read books. LT: Well, Robert, I have much hobbies. I listen music, I go to the cinema and I read books
¿Y tú? ¿Tienes pasatiempos? NM: What about you? Do you have hobbies? LT: And you? You have hobbies?
Robert:
 Claro. En mi tiempo libre yo también escucho música y voy al cine. NM: Of course. In my free time I also listen to music and go to the movies. LT: Clear. In my time free I also I listen music and I go to the cinema.
Pero no leo libros; es aburrido. Pero dibujo. NM: But I don’t read books; it’s boring. But I draw. LT: But not I read books; it is boring. But I draw.
Lucía:
 ¡Pues, mira, qué casualidad! Yo también dibujo. NM: Well, look at that, what a coincidence! I draw too. LT: Well, look, what coincidence! I also I draw.
Robert:
 ¿Ah, sí? ¿Dibujas todos los días? NM: Oh, really? Do you draw every day? LT: Ah, yes? You draw all the days?
Lucía:
 No, no todos los días, pero dibujo a menudo. ¿Y tú? NM: No, not every day, but I draw often. How about you? LT: No, not all the days, but I draw often. And you?
Robert:
 Solo dibujo los fines de semana. NM: I only draw on weekends. LT: Only I draw the ends of week.
Lucía:
 ¿Aprendes español en tu tiempo libre? NM: Do you learn Spanish in your free time? LT: You learn Spanish in your time free?
Robert:
 Sí, aprendo español todos los días. ¿Y tú? NM: Yes, I learn Spanish every day. And you? LT: Yes, I learn Spanish all the days. And you?
Lucía:
 ¡Qué va! No aprendo español, soy española, hablo español. ¡Jajaja! NM: Not at all! I don’t learn Spanish—I’m Spanish, I speak Spanish. Hahaha! LT: What goes! Not I learn Spanish, I’m Spanish, I speak Spanish. Hahaha!
Robert:
 ¡Qué bien! Y los fines de semana mis amigos y yo vamos a la playa. NM: That’s great! And on weekends my friends and I go to the beach. LT: How good! And the ends of week my friends and I we go to the beach.
Lucía:
¿Qué hacéis en la playa? NM: What do you guys do at the beach? LT: What you all do on the beach?
Robert:
 Escuchamos música, leemos libros y dibujamos. NM: We listen to music, read books, and draw. LT: We listen music, we read books and we draw.
Lucía:
 Escucháis música, leéis libros y dibujáis. ¡Guay! ¡Tenéis muchos pasatiempos! NM: You guys listen to music, read books, and draw. Cool! You guys have a lot of hobbies! LT: You all listen music, you all read books and you all draw. Cool! You all have much hobbies!
Robert:
 Sí, y también bailamos a veces. ¿Tú bailas? NM: Yeah, and we also dance sometimes. Do you dance? LT: Yes, and also we dance at times. You dance?
Lucía:
 No bailo, solo escucho música. NM: I don’t dance, I only listen to music. LT: Not I dance, only I listen music.
Robert:
 ¿Y qué haces los fines de semana? NM: And what do you do on weekends? LT: And what you do the ends of week?
Lucía:
 Voy de compras los sábados y los domingos voy al cine. NM: I go shopping on Saturdays, and on Sundays I go to the movies. LT: I go of purchases the Saturdays and the Sundays I go to the cinema.
